Fresh Green Grass Is a three piece Bluegrass band from Blue Rapids, KS. Mike, Meghan and Dan Minihan have been performing together for local, state and national events for the past 5 years. Meghan Minihan plays bass, sings lead and harmony. "I love bluegrass, but I never imagined myself playing bass. Once I picked one up, I fell in love with it. Bluegrass is something not a lot of my friends are really into, but I've gotten to show them how awesome it really is and they've gained interest in it. I've met so many people through playing bluegrass music and going to jams. I love it."

Dan Minihan plays fiddle, mandolin, sings harmony and lead. "I've enjoyed music throughout my life and really got into it when I found my mom's old violin in the closet. Since then it's been a great experience and I've loved every second of it, especially getting to perform with my dad and sister in front of a big crowd."

Mike Minihan plays rhythm guitar, sings harmony and lead. "I enjoy playing and singing. I started playing at our church in the early 90's but never took music too seriously until my kids became interested in playing. I enjoy performing with them on stage, around a camp fire or in a garage with friends .....anywhere there is anyone who wants to listen!"
