After testing the waters with his Reminising LP, BL approached Producer Shawn Moseley to pursue a new ablum that would be a departure from how he has approached music to date. One year later and many all nighter sessions, what you get is "2 Hearts", a culmination of life experiences, musical influences and very well crafted songs and lyrics with content and purpose. One primary focus in the production of the album was to disregard the fear of "labeling" the sound so it could fit nicely in a category and just write and focus on what comes naturally. So, as you can imagine, what you get is a nice blend of emotional truths ranging from sexy, to silly, to heartbroken and lost,while keeping it live and to the point. Knowing the importance of reducing tunnel vision in the final stages of a good record, Shawn brought in longtime friend, LA Producer Rodney Alejandro.
