Kallisti Gold was formed on the banks of the Blanco River in San Marcos, TX. They are a 6 piece band which consist of drums, bass, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, percussion, keyboards, and four-part vocal harmony. During live shows, they switch instruments from time to time, and feature four different lead singers. They have been publicized in the San Marcos Scene, the University Star, and the KTSW morning show.

Kallisti Gold just released their full-length debut album, Kallisti Gold, on Sept. 9th. They packed Lucy's on the Square to capacity during their release show. They completely sold out of the first shipment of cd's that night. Kallisti Gold planned a seamless transition between themselves and opening band, Funkotron. The show was a dance party from the beginning until venue closed. They strive to create something completely original, and Kallisti Gold is catching steam.

They pride themselves in playing an energetic live show, and creating a positive vibe with the crowd. They play very upbeat, danceable, and jammy rock songs. Their influences include the Beatles, The Temptations, Ben Harper, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Al Green, Queen, Bob Marley, Sublime, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Phish, and many more.
