Her voice swings with ease to the rhythm of the 30âs and 4oâs classics, and she lights the torch of a classic love ballad with a flame that touches every heart in the room. But her greatest musical love comes from her early years as a folksinger and guitarist. She grew up playing guitar in the finger-picking styles of Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey and as a solo performer her musical style reflects the haunting and rich vocals of Judy Collins, Emmy Lou Harris and Joan Baez.
