The Whiskey Avengers are a four-piece ska/reggae band from Northern Californiaâs San Francisco Bay Area. Armed with an allegiance of musical madmen, they have created a unique style of old-school Jamaican ska to nurture their contemporary yet controversial lyrics. Formed in January of 2006 by an entourage of local punk, jazz, metal, and hip-hop artists, these nihilistic no-goodniks have been met with the success and loyalty of any seasoned group. However, success is no stranger to these veterans, who have come together from such touring monsters as Insolence, The Crosstops, and Language Arts Crew. These bad boys ain't no newbie to the game, they are guaranteed to drink twice their bar tab, swoop up the strumpets, and serenade any establishment with a soothing set of catchy originals and classic covers of alcoholic Americana thatâll leave you skanking and swashbuckling.
