Details:
Whitney Steele started out with a rock star name and a dream to match. This Arizona native knew from an early age that she was put on this earth to sing and everyone around her knew it too. Growing up, Whitney could always be found entertaining before a live audience in the latest musical and eventually moved on to singing The National Anthem on televised football games. This was only the beginning of the dream for Whitney. Hollywood kept calling!
It was just after high school Whitney loaded up her Jeep and set off to fulfill her destiny. She was soon singing back up for many different artists and lending her voice to sing on movie trailers and movies to pay the bills. Though she loved every minute of having the opportunity to work on these diverse projects, Whitney had a voice of her own and felt she needed to use it. Whitney met up with songwriter/producer Scott Miller and the pieces started falling together. The pair began writing and recording at The Hit House and soon after, Whitney was chosen to be the first artist as part of Westlake Recording Studios artist development program where the two of them recorded four more songs.
Whitney's music was put up on several different websites to discover the reaction she would obtain from the public. With over 9,000 hits in the first three months, Whitney held the number one, two, and three spots on the charts with the songs she had just recorded. Her latest achievement is a song she wrote and recorded with lead singer, Robin Wilson from The Gin Blossoms. "You Won't See Me Crying" will be on her cd due to be released in March of 2007. Her first music video production of âStorm Warningâ will be released in November of 2006. With no plan of stopping any time soon, Whitney is extremely passionate about her music and will carry on sharing her gift as she feels she was put on earth to do.
âI have enjoyed every minute of my journey thus far and I am looking forward to whatâs in store for the future."

I found Whitney Steele by accident. I was watching a Linda Ronstadt video on YouTube and Whitney had a video singing ´Long Long Time´. She was so beautiful and her voice was so unique. I thought I was watching an angel. I looked her up and found her original CD. Everytime is incredible! All favorites! Do yourself a favor and check her out first on youtube. This is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWw7kuYoM0E. You will wonder where´s she´s been?

I had never heard of Whitney Steel until I saw one of her videos on a friend´s myspace page. The video was ´Storm Warning´ and it rocks, but I checked out the Linda Ronstadt video like the last review suggested and I agree with Dale Calderon, it´s a must see! Then watch Whitney´s other video ´Storm Warning. All of her original music is incredible? Why hasn´t anyone found this girl???
