Wendy is a composer, pianist, and independent music teacher. She received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy from WSU in 2000 and her Masters of Music in Theory/Composition from WSU in 2004. She has served as the pianist at her local church for 17 years.
Wendy's new book, Rejoice has recently been published by Concordia Publishing House and has been chosen "editor's pick" by J. W. Pepper for the fall 2006 (see www.wendyspianstudio.com). Her long anticipated recording of Christmas music, All is Calm All is Bright, is now available as well.
Wendy is currently the president of the Wichita Metropolitan Music Teachers Association and has also served on the board of the Kansas Music Teachers Association. She is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in piano and is an active member of the Music Teacher's National Association. Wendy is a member of ASCAP, the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.
