Weird Wired is a band constantly crossing borders, the Swiss/German one most often given their location where Germany, Switzerland and France are connected by the river Rhine. Just below the Blackforrest with it's cuckoo clocks (not featured in their songs).

They play vocal and guitar based songs mixed with nearly all kinds of synthetic stuff, sometimes to recreate real moods sometimes to invent new ones.

They blend different influences to a style certainly not liked by everyone - completely inconsistent, but recognizable and unique in each but one of their songs.

Their first album "Time" is a rollercoaster through these style escapades. From the raw guitars in "Scenes of Life" over the cool kraftwerky synths in "Alien Friend" to the heavy sequenced "End of Innocence" you will find a lot of bends and loops in between.

Sometimes sounding like "David Bowie and his Coral Reefer Band at Fenway Park" sometimes like a yellow submarine in low level flight they never repeat themselves. Well ... to be honest: they used nearly the same lyrics for two songs on the cd - but you will really have a hard time to get that connection.

Just for the fun of it, the CD includes a riddle that gives access to a special bonus track. That song again is a riddle and the band bets that nearly nobody will waste time and brain cells (and you will need a lot of both) to find the correct answers (three names).

But hey, what do you expect when a band calls itself Weird Wired...
