"Satellites" was our second CD. It was recorded in South Jersey at Barge Sound Studios and mixed by reknowned produced ???. We rerecorded "Breathe For Me" for this record along with three other new tracks.
4 MP3 Songs
ROCK: 90's Rock
Details:
Satellites was recorded by Jim Barge at Barge Sound Studios in Linden, NJ. The studio resided over a carpet store, but lacked nothing in terms of sound. Because of the size of the room, we were able to record live in the same room, which offered us some great energy. Although the roof leaked sometimes, and it was cold it was a positive experience recording this record.
Renowned producer Mark Berry mixed it at Broccoli Rabe Studios in Fairfield, NJ. Mark mixed the four songs in an afternoon. The result was awesome. I have never seen anyone push levels to the brink of breaking like that. Although it was expensive for us at the time, he did an amazing job.
Yet another lesson to be learned in the music business.
