In the winter of 1997 we decided to record another full length CD. We headed back down to Barg Studios in Linden, NJ. One thing we learned from recording in the past was to come prepared. And that we did. It was also our most experimental time in the studio. We really enjoyed the process this time, and had fun for the first time. The studio can seem like work and the hours can be screwy, however, recording Siege Perilous was different. It was also some of the best material we have ever written.We mixed Perilous with Dave again at Marion Studios. Dave helped us with some ideas we had for effects and actually ended up playing keyboards on a song or two. On a final note, Siege Perilous is an enhanced CD; complete with photos and a video clip from us playing at CBGB's in NYC. It was a labor of love, although other members of the band would disagree. A great deal of thought and design went into it. In fact, there is even a theme behind it if you look.Unfortunately, this was the last project we did as a band.
