Details:
Four character sound wave rock nâ roll explosion.

From the bourbon blues of backstage liaisons to the front line jubilations of the most exuberant fans Wall of Tom merges the kinetic energy of rock with the breathless passion of roll in a most personal fashion. Truer than a mirror and harder than sex the four band members tear down the mysteries of overproduced music and erect a sound all their own which cannot be denied.

A collage of musical talent and diversity is the threadwork of Wall of Tom. The bandâs members hail from such various backgrounds as jazz training to the chaos of living rock nâ roll to the funk-soul of downright hip-hop. From a fateful encounter of four musical souls to the drama of a town so overwhelmingly false sincerity takes every chance it can to blossom.

Tommie Potter, a throaty mistress of rock nâ roll, met a guitar pounding sound engineer named Tony Grimes at Cherokee studios, which they both worked at, in Los Angeles in February of 2002. The musical connection was instant and before the sun could set the two were creating songs together from a journal Tommie kept. After several jam sessions the two rockers met Kerim Imes through the great Henry Rollins at the studio and began to enlarge their already stunning troupe with a heartbeat on the drums. Through the funk and hip hop circles surrounding Kerim, an old friend Daniel Seeff met and joined the three with a Bass funky tenacity. The four then set out to create and play music the only way they knew how to: truthfully, ardently, and brilliantly.
