Although Walker Ikardâs songs continue to receive major radio airplay on radio stations, he still says that he is just a down-to-earth country boy with another song to write and sing.

Walker Ikardâs music career got off to an early start because of the inspiration of his Mother, Osie âWhitakerâ Ikard, and the encouragement of his Father, James Edd Ikard.

His Mother and her sister, Exie, billed as the WHITAKER SISTERS, were early Stars of Radio.

Walker is truly just a Country boy with another Country song to write. He is a natural talent in that he writes his own songs, sings all his songs and plays rhythm guitar. He owns his own record company and independent label.

Ikard is truly an âEXCITINGâ entertainer. Off stage, he is just like any other guy kicking around town, known here in his local community of North Alabama for his major success in music.
