Description:
(ID 1580629)
in partnership with CDbaby
A unique and heavy sound blending elements of classic industrial, rock ballads, and avant garde electronica.
18 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Goth, ELECTRONIC: Industrial
Details:
Warmer delivers scathing debut LP, Flexible Records is pleased to bring you the debut full-length release from North Idaho's Warmer. Warmer was, until recently, the experimental "side project" of Diffuse vocalist Jesse Gunn. Since leaving that band, Warmer has become his main focus, and he has put together a collection of tracks which huff, puff and blow your house down. The album's somewhat odd title 1. to become, in some respects, different; is not only quite punctuation heavy, but reflects Mr. Gunn's Modus Operandi, which is to create music that stands apart from anything else. It's a unique and heavy sound, blending elements of classic industrial rock with hints of Tom Waits, Beck, and even a hint of glam rock (in the stomping "9-to-5".) This is a dark, brooding record with some seriously beautiful clouds hanging over it.
