Details:
Blatant is a hard-hitting San Francisco Punk Band. Their catchy choruses and meaningful songs strike a note with everyone. Boy in the Mirror, Blatant's first studio album was 8 months in the making, written and composed by front man Joey D'Angelo. Upon completion of the album, D'Angelo sought out veteran musicians and enlisted drummer Tom Antl from San Diego, bass player Frank Brazile from Austin, and lead guitarist from Daniel Posthumous from South Africa. Together they form the tightest, most powerful band to rise from the festering San Francisco music scene in years.

Blatant's music is best described as having influences from bands such as Green Day, Operation Ivy, Slick Shoes, Blink 182, and Unwritten Law. Boy in the Mirror is one of those albums that many say has at least 5 or 6 radio hits, and will leave listeners humming the tunes over and over again in their head...which is just what the boys of Blatant want you to do!
