Danny was born and raised in a Christian family in Ethiopia. At an early age, following his older sibling's footsteps, he started singing in the Mekane Eyesus Sunday School Choir. In high school, he joined the Full Gospel's exciting youth choir, and later, while studying at the Yared Music School in Addis Ababa, he joined the prestigious Full Gospel's senior choir, better known as the "Mulu Wongel A Choir"


Danny has played major roles in those choirs as a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, songwriter, and choir director.


During this time Danny was part of other Christian contemporary bands and also he was a member of The Motley Singers, a group mainly of International community in Addis Ababa.. After attending the Yared School of Music in Addis Ababa, he continued in Boston's Berklee Music College in 1997 as one of the few Ethiopians ever to attend the institution. Daniel was the first Ethiopian in Berklee's highly selective Music Production and Engineering program, which he combined with a Contemporary Writing and Production major.

Danny is one of the very talented and exciting young Ethiopian Musicians/producer to come out on the music scene. Throughout his musical journey, he has produced various gospel albums and has also performed in different gospel concerts as a musician and vocalist. So Psalms 91 Productions is, again, proud to present Dawit as its first featured artist.
