Details:
The official release date of "Project H.Y.P.E." is set for October 18th 2005. This project is all about Helping Young People Excel. Basically I got a bunch of friends together, got them in the studio to lay down some new stuff, and then we put it all on one album!!! It's broken into 2 sections-The "Now Generation," which is All 4 One (Multi platinum artists known for their smash singles such as "I Swear," "So In Love," and "I Could Love You Like That.") solo projects form lead men from the Katinas Jesse and John featuring the stylistic rapper Verbs. The smooth sounding Javen Campbell (TBN), and Innerlude round off the Now Generation.
Then we're so excited to add to the project the 2nd half called "The New Generation." These are new and upcoming artists that are incredible!!! We're so blessed to have worked with them. These include Jake Soosemaya, who is a cousin of the Katinas, has a smooth R&B style, Irvington-a bunch of incredibly talented musicians that performed at Spirit West Coast for the 1st time, Samo Praze-A group of Samoans that can take you from intimate worship to rocking 7,000 youth at a conference. Then we have rappers Saylah and Brotha IG, who have been gaining much respect in the Bay Area for their MC skills. Another exciting new group are a bunch of high school kids that are taking California by storm, Impact. We hope you enjoy the project, and look forward to seeing you at one of the concerts.
