A well-versed musician and vocalist, "Sherman" has spent over twenty-five years in the music industry playing with such artists as: Sammy Obanyon, EMF, Panama and Voices 4 Christ. A native of Augusta, Georgia, Sherman's first recording session took place at age sixteen with The Dixie Jubileers. Since that time, he has toured with rock groups, country/western artists as well as R&B bands. A member of BMI, Sherman has written for Hilltop and Americord Records. His influence is seen and heard in the lives, music, and ministries of artists all over the world, but more importantly in his role as husband and father.

After touring for over ten years, Sherman realized the calling on his life was beyond ordinary. Inspired by God to write songs with messages of hope, Sherman's vision for his ministry centered around creating positive lyrics with positive messages, inventing a truly soul lifting experience. With inspirations like Fred Hammond, Ben Tankard and BeBe and CeCe Winans, Sherman's music has an R&B vibe that will revolutionize the gospel music industry.
Diverse in his writing and performance, Sherman's debut album, "YOU CAN MAKE IT" addresses individuals in search of truth. A combination of urban contemporary praise and worship, the approach of the album is focused on delivering messages of hope, love, inspiration, motivation and restoration. His musical talents have been acknowledged by musicians throughout his career as is evident by the group of highly acclaimed musicians that recorded on this project with him.
