Tekelia Kelly has performed for numerous audiences at major events and venues during her career as a professional singer; including the worldâs fair, television shows, national commemorative ceremonies, theaters, sporting events, festivals, and churches. She has shared the stage with celebrities such as Jennifer Holiday, Mavis Staples, Sybil Shephard, Patti Austin, Calvin Lockhart, and O'lander Draper to name a few. A history-maker herself, the former Miss Black Chattanooga (Tennessee) is also one of Memphis, Tennesseeâs original âmusic townâ performers of the 1980âs; headlining at Libertyland and Beale Street, and appearing at the Orpheum Theatre, Peabody Hotel and National Civil Rights Museum.
