My influences run the gamut of music. Raised on a steady diet of 60's Rock...Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys and Motown I have struggled to find who I am in music and you will find that I am not blocked in by any genre. I write for other artists including my 13 year old son self dubbed 'El M; Enno' (Noah Castaneda) and The Canela Band who I played with for years. I am now experimenting with Rap and Hip -Hop rhythms and am having fun telling stories of love. Overwhelming as it is at times the love and attraction one feels at first sight brings to mind the first high school dance and being cheek to cheek with that special girl. I love vocal harmonies and percussive melodies that give opportunity to groove development sometimes just for the sake of the trance like sensations it causes one to experience. Almost like chanting chorus lines are wonderful to work off of and in this particular case the interlude gives opportunity for rapping, melodic vocal riffing and a sax solo. The end gives you a taste of my vocal intent and love of improvisation. All the end parts were done in one take..this is the first in a series of singles I plan to release in the months to come. You will be satisfied I promise and you will want more of what I have to offer.
