The band formed way back in 1971 when GLENN left JETHRO TULL. The band toured relentlessly for 3 years in the U.S.A.with bands like YES, BLACK SABBATH, ZZ TOPP and many others.
They released 2 albums BATTLE HYMN and TURKEY to critical acclaim.
They split in 1974 when GARY PICKFORD-HOPKINS joined RICK WAKEMAN for JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF THE EARTH.
The band re-formed briefly for the STEALER OF YEARS album in 1996. A tour was cut short because GLENN had a heart attack.
10 years later and they are back FIGHTING FIT with the new album YOU AND ME IN THE JUNGLE.
A 20 date tour of the U.K. and ITALY has just been completed and 2007 will see WILD TURKEY touring ITALY, GERMANY, SPAIN, UK AND ARGENTINA. other countries to be confirmed.
