When emcees and producers attend intensive one-on-one therapy and relieve themselves of egos, they give birth to musicians like Witness.

Lyricist, part-time producer and leader of the eclectic collective of like-minded musicians called Recollective, Witness has been trying to work his way into the new generation of indie hip hop artists.

Ever Since is an 9 track mixtape style album of songs released from 2004-2005. Originally intended to be sold exclusively on the 22 city "Peace Poor Child Tour" of 2005, it was repressed constantly in response to online demand.

Featuring production from up and coming producers Emancipator and Atarax, Ever Since is as broad lyrically as sonically. With the fierce commentary on the current political climate over flamenco guitars in "Soap Box Stance" to ruminations on women's rights over a somber saxaphone in "Sylvia Plath", "Ever Since" contains a variety of moods and a solid amount of replay value for it's relatively short length.
