Dr. William âDocâ Belisle has been writing music for many years. He has written music for bands such as the internationally recognized St. Augustine High School Marching 100, the George Washington Carver Senior High School Marching Band, the renowned William Houston Band, (all from New Orleans, Louisiana), and the outstanding Alabama A&M University Marching Maroon and White in Huntsville, Alabama. His music has been used numerous times for the Magic City Classics in Birmingham, Alabama, for televised New Orleans Saints football half-time performances, and the Tournament of Roses Parade in Los Angeles, California.
âComin Back To New Orleansâ is Docâs first solo effort. The album includes motivational and inspirational music and lyrics, and encouragement for those individuals displaced and devastated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The album is a message as a whole, and contains individual messages in each song reaching out to our people to come back to New Orleans, to come back home.
