Wine-Sky moved from the San Francisco Bay area to Nashville in 2001 to immerse himself in the new and exciting Americana music scene. Says Wine-Sky, "I love being in this town where other musicians and songwriters are so supportive of each other."
Wine-Sky has assembled an incredible contingent of some of the best musicians in Nashville to play with him on this CD.
He has written or co-written all the songs on this album which range from the haunting old-time Appalachian inspired "Blind Cowboy" the rockin' "You Call that Music" to the joyous and classic title track, "Americana Road".
As a producer, he has worked with musicians including: Taj Mahal, Pee Wee Ellis, Mark Isham, Jon Scholle, David Bromberg, Darol Anger, Rob Wasserman, and Nicky Hopkins.
He has played extensively in folk, country, and rock clubs on the East and West coasts, and has opened for acts including the Grateful Dead, Johnny Winter, and the Steve Miller band.
