An intense fusion of rock with folk, country, jazz, spiritual and celtic results in very different songs linked by universal themes. THIS CD WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. (Or at least touch your heart if you want it to )
13 MP3 Songs
EASY LISTENING: Soft Rock, COUNTRY: Country Rock
Details:
"Spirits" is meant to be thought provoking as well as fun. The first half is serious and philosophical. We've always wanted to do a theme CD, and in a sense we have a half of a theme CD. "Voyage of Discovery" speaks to the wonders and magic of our existence on this earth that are not always apparent to the naked eye. Starting with a bleak but insightful observation of our reality, Marching to the Sea presents a palette upon which the other songs in "Voyage" paint. In broad brushstrokes the remaining 6 songs fill the virgin canvas with the colors of music, love, home, the innocence of adulthood, the circle of life, the oneness of earth, and other spiritual thoughts.
Conversely songs like Vampire's Lament and Why Bother on the other half of the CD are just meant to be fun, so don't look for hidden meanings. Roll and Roll On are both songs to drive to....more music is "consumed" in cars than in concert halls. It's the American Way! Graduation continues the same metaphor from "voyage" and could be a postscript, applying to the completion of any chapter. Places is a tribute to those times you tackle something and stumble. As the phrase goes " to everything there is a season" and we feel the CD, like life, should not always be serious
