I start with a story my sis told me when I was twenty or so. Sis told me that Mum saw me one day rocking to the music playing on the family stereo and Mum said to sis that I would be a musician one day. Mum never lived to see that day , she was suddenly killed months later.
I say no matter how long you live, if there is still breath in your lungs, follow your dreams. Make it happen! I was born in a Midwestern town southwest of Chicago. Evergreen Park, Illinois.
After Mum died Dad remarried a year later and cemented the union by adding another child, making the grand total of children 9, and making us the unofficial"Brady Bunch"!
Dad was a athlete as well as actor, he loved to sing and generally be a " Ham"
My biological Mum was a artist,Mum painted, teacher and a classical pianist. I heard she played well.
Dads ancestory came from Ireland and Germany. Mums from Great Britain and Germany.
Well I absconded all the records the sibs left when they left for thier college studies.
The Beatles are the band I loved most.
I started by emulating the ways they sang and played thier instrument. Formed several Beatle bands and began in ernst to write music about 18 or 19.
My fave was John , he had a knack for saying and doing things that drew attention, just being himself.
I was a lot like that, still am.

There are also some songs about my divorce and one song to my daughter Alyssa.
Painful as it was I said what i needed to say and moved on.
