Don Williams â Drummer and also on vocals, is a career musician for over four decades. Don has recorded with legendary artist such as Arthur Prysock, Jimmy McGriff, Hank Crawford, Ronnie Earl and others. He performed with Arthur Prysock, Red Prysock, Jimmy McGriff, Hank Crawford, Red Halloway, David âFat Headâ Newman, Groove Holmes, and others. Donâs touring experiences have taken him on national and international excursions where he has displayed his magnanimous talent on his instrument.
Now he wants to intensify audiences of the Jazz world with compilations of great tunes and the versitility of many of his great fellow musicians. As is stated in the tile of this work of audio art "Smokin" is to say the least about the formation of this fine group of musicians and their performances on each track. This CD supports what listeners need to and deserve to hear as a resource for relaxation and entertainment, like a supplement for the mind and spirit.
