Hailing from San Jose California, Section 5150 was originally formed by founding members Dave Morgan (Vocals, Guitar) and Chris Filice (Drums) in 2009. Shortly thereafter, Masaki Takeda (Bass) and Erik Hernandez (Guitar) completed the line-up. By combining elements of Thrash, American, and Melodic Death Metal, Section 5150 creates a brand of Pure American Thrash Metal that is quickly taking over the Bay Area metal scene. Guitar slaying & shredding, vicious vocals, rumbling bass, and pounding drums (along with plenty of hate and aggression) fill their debut album âBide Your Time,â released in late 2011. In support of the album, Section 5150 has been thrashing venues throughout California with their sights set on touring in 2012. Metal is alive and well, so crank your speakers and get your horns in the air. Section 5150 is here to RAGE!
