This album took over three years to complete. It is a collection of the worldâs most exceptionally beautiful Latin and Spanish ballads. I chose each individual piece based on its expressiveness and beauty. I put everything I have into this recording. I performed on an exquisite 1964 Velázquez handmade classical guitar, renowned for its sweet, warm tone, with a resonance that truly sings! I find this guitar to be the ideal instrument for this beautiful repertoire. I spent many months repositioning the microphones to best capture this instrumentâs inherently warm, pure tone. After recording the CD, I had it mastered by a top engineer at SONY Music to maximize the production quality. I consider Latin Ballads my best recording to date.
