Hello: my name is Willie Norton. I was raised in the Sierra Foothill's of california, and spent most of my life in that arena as well as the mountain's near and around Lake Tahoe.
I have worked and played with many of the great rock and roll musican's out of the San Francisco 60's-70's music scene.
I have been a recrding engeneer, and a concert pro-moter.
I have worked with and known some of englands great blue's and rock artist. there is a band from england I have to mention on this space "Hawkwind"-not for every one, but if your not afraid to spread your spirit wing's a go! check them out (it defenitly is not country-blues or bluegrass), but I love it.
Back to me:
I am strictly a hillbilly "purple neck" country, blues, rocker, and much more when it comes to getting the message out "via" music.
This cd is strictly accustic blue's influenced bluegrass. (I hate catogorie's), it's good music for anyone with an "iq" and attention span. the song's come from reality. some the hurtin kind, some a lot of fun time's, none of it is fake- not on this one, or any of the other cd's I will be releasing.
Can you dance to it?. "well not like "hippity hop" music, but if you can clog or stump, you might get somthin movin".
Can you make love to it?: "dang it partner, that's up to you!"
Can you sleep to it?: "maybe if your drunk enough- but I hop not".
Can you drink to it?: "just keep it safe, and have a designated driver"-p.s. take a toast to me(I can't drink anymore)".
This is the most important question of all!
Can you Bar-B-Q too it?: "Hell yea".
Hey everybody: buy this cd, I am poor and living out of a vw buss! it took some doin to get this done. no it's not the best quality in the world, but it is good-no noise or hiss, that's what's taking me a while on releasing some other stuff I have coming. This one is live, but it has a real good feel to it-honestly it do's.
Well enough about me.
The rest is up to you.
