A trick I learned during the creation of this album, was that a song can be created from several different points. You can start with lyrics, and then create a melody to fit them. You can create a melody and then add the lyrics, or you can just create a simple baseline, create the lyrics and the melody to go with it. Doing one of these will create the core of the song. Then after you have that, you can work on the build-up (the beginning), and the break-down (the ending) of the song. Often times repeating the core of the song and adding or subtracting elements.

The programs I use in the creation of my music are Reaper and FL Studio. I use Reaper for the recording of lyrics. (I don't have any lyrics in this album so I never used reaper for it.) I use FL Studio in combination with many VST and VSTi plugins to create the music. Many people think other DAWâs are better. However I have found that when you are looking for a way to just play around and be creative, FL Studio is the best for that as it has a fun environment.


I started working on my music in early 2008 when I met a guy who had his own home recording studio in his parents basement. He was the only person who had topped me on anything in relation to technology that I knew personally and was within 5 years of my age. His music became my main inspiration for learning to make music of my own. I never really put much effort into my music however until the summer of 2010 when an old friend from a game modding community came to me in search of music for his latest mod. Since then I have been spending all my free time working on music and have released several songs I am particularly proud of. My favorite genre is Trance and since I don't have the best singing voice or lyrical creativity, that is the style of music i have chosen to make. I personally think its turning out rather well.

Now it is 2011. This album is a collection of my work during the summer of 2010 and shortly thereafter. It was my first album I ever released and, as of this writing, the only one. Since then i have changed direction with my music and adopted a new style and have started recording lyrics. I hope to release that album someday, but until then, this my earliest work. I hope you enjoy it.
