WT Special plays what some folks would call
Alternative Honkabilly roots music, and that would be
a pretty fair assessment. We just like to think of
our music as good music-nothing more, nothing less.

Influenced by some of the legends: Hank Williams,
Johnny Cash, Lefty Frezell, Led Zepplin, Kevin Smith,
Jason and The Scorchers, Mark Rubin, Stevie Nicks, to
name just a few. Different styles and backgrounds
meld together in wonderful harmony that creates an
exciting new sound.

Jeremiah Wade, acoustic guitar, primary songwriter
and vocalist, shares his stories in a way not usually
seen in someone of his years. Kheli Kitts lends
her vocals to create amazing harmonies and textures.
James Logan, with his upright bass, keeps the bottom
end thumping and holds the crowd in the palm of his
hand, simply by being himself. Mark Smoot keeps it all
together with steady drumming and never strays from
his destination. Wayne O'Neill, lead guitar, dobro
and mandolin, adds stinging guitar parts and melodic
leads that weave through songs in a way that sings to
you.
Born in places such as Iowa, Tennessee and Texas,
