I bought a copy of Transister pop when i saw Edweenas party performing on holiday in greece, Drag frontperson Edweena and her fruity gang certainly know how to put on a live show and the album delivers in large amounts too.
The album is bursting with euro pop classics these guys would walk eurovision.
There's a strong seventies/eighties pop/rock feel going down here and there's everything from KC and the Sunshine band to paul Mc Cartney and Wings a touch of Blondie and New Wave to boot. and special mention for the albums big ballard "Beautiful You" A 10 weeks at number one job.
Production wise it ticks all the right boxes a light crisp kooky sound pleasing on the ear
To sum it all up this Album is a little gem that gets better with every play and i strongly reconmend it to all pop lovers.
