REVERE is a band straight out of the Tampa/Clearwater scene. In fact they're sort of skimmed right off the top of it. Having known each other within that scene for eight years, from various local bands including Shrinky Dinks, Downfall, Ten Thirteen Concept and Five Radio, Matt B., Conrad & Matt K. pulled together and decided to pool their talents in a show of what that scene has to offer. REVERE infuses punk rock with musical theories designed to widen its appeal, taking the usual gutteral screams and power chords to another level without losing their effect. What might sound like a familiar air-punching chord would then in fact be augmented, or diminished, musically speaking... all for the betterment of your human emotional response, so to speak. You will hear people's comparisons ranging from The Descendents, Propaghandi, Hi-Standard, and even Pennywise, but for a band that has only been around for a very short while, what will strike you is how far they've progressed. When approached with the possibility of taking their music to Japan, the band could only say that they were "blown away" by the idea, not thinking it would be possible this early. They eagerly await their July debut in Tokyo, and are pursuing the legendary Fuji Rock Festival. Working with only a demo, and dreams of expanding their instrumentation and versatility in what they do, REVERE is equipped and ready to Rock. And so, to you music lovers out there: Are YOU?
