Christina Marie has been singing since the age of 4. She spends a lot of her time both singing and acting in plays. At the age of sixteen, while at a family event, her uncle, John Milo Pro formerly of the group Spanish Fly (Upstairs/Warner Bros.), saw her sing for the first time. He was impressed and he mentioned to her that there was a label he was doing some work for and they were looking for a singer. Christina sang one hook, and that was all it took for VAZRAM RECORDS to sign her to a record deal. This San Francisco native made her debut release with âTurning Awayâ, the first day the single arrived at the Bay Areaâs own Wild 94.9, it hit the airwaves. Turning Away hit regular rotation within a three-week period. Soon radio stations such as KDON, KWIN, KBTU, KSFM, and others soon followed. By the time Christina reached the age of 17, not only did she finish her high school studies, she had completed a Full Length album. The second single from Christinaâs album, âTurn the Lights Down Lowâ, also received Radio play in Monterey Bay, CA and Texas.
