Pattern to crochet the afghan and pillow in photo.
This is a most wonderful afghan crochet pattern! It doesn't look like much in the black and white photo, but it's extremely easy and fast to make and everyone I've ever made one for has absolutely loved it! Generally I use three shades of one color, but let your imagination run wild and make all color combinations!
Single, double and treble crochet--goes really fast. You will need 18 ounces of three different colors for the afghan. For the pillow, you need 6 ounces of three different colors--worsted weight yarn makes a 16 inch square pillow and results in an afghan about 46 x 68 inches if you use the J hook.
If you adore making lovely crocheted afghans but also love to sit and talk or watch a movie or TV and not have to think about your crocheting count--and if you don't like cutting off yarn and weaving in all those ends later, this pattern is for you!
If you choose to make the pillow, it has a nice and easy twisted cord edging that adds a special touch, but is so easy to do!
This republished pattern is in the English language and has been retyped from my old original and proof read by at least two experienced crocheters.
The pattern is in an Adobe pdf file that you can view on your computer (Mac or PC) and print with Adobe Reader, which is a free download at www.adobe.com
Immediate Download! No shipping or handling fees!
