Details:
Blue Muse is vocalist/songwriter, Cathey Baier; guitarist/songwriter, Ernie Fortunato; drummer, Alan Camlet; and bassist, Nick D'Amato. The band is based in Jersey City, New Jersey and plays throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

The band was originally formed in 1996 by Baier and Fortunato. Their first independently released CD "Hold Onto Me" (1998) received critical acclaim and airplay on college and public radio stations in NY, NJ, and PA. It was also played internationally on Radio Vreva in Macedonia.

Cathey and Ernie have performed live on the radio and at the Bethlehem Musikfest. Their songwriting abilities and stage presence got them into the finals for the 1999 Lilith Fair New York City Talent Search, where they finished in the top twenty. In 1998, Blue Muse added Camlet and D'Amato to the lineup and recorded their follow-up CD, "Will I Be Free."

The new four song ep, "Break It Apart," shows the band moving in a new direction, with songs that have edgier sounding guitar leads and hook-driven choruses.
