David Andrew Wiebe took up songwriting at 14, and learned the thrill of performance shortly after. He took up the guitar at 17, learning under various teachers and mentor figures. Heâs currently studying jazz under Jim Riley, and he also teaches guitar; Imparting his knowledge to a younger generation.

David was invited to be a part of the worship team at his home church in early 2001, and still volunteers his talents there. He also went on to play in a number of rock bands, punk bands, a country cover band, and a Christmas jazz ensemble. David is always in demand as a lead guitarist, accompanying various musicians including friend and singer/songwriter Christopher Connelly.

His last long-term involvement with a band was a punk rock jam band known as Lightly Toasted Touché. The band came out with their fist EP, A Tale of the Coming Together and Murder of My Heart in the Golden State in February of 2005. Shortly thereafter, he began performing solo and started putting together his first album. This encouraged musical growth unprecedented in previous projects.

On Shipwrecked... My Sentiments, David's long-awaited solo release, he explores the human condition and the realness of pain. Itâs not enough to merely acknowledge your feelings; emotions are to be explored and validated.
