Like lots of folks - my music has been a work over time - a long time. Most of the tracks on this album were written by me some thirty years ago in the 1980's. Back then I use to fret about never having enough money to pay for the recordings and most of them never happened. That was back in the time of tape. I can remember buying my first Ampex 2 inch tape for about $125.00. Now its near to impossible to find a machine that will play it.

Who could foresee all the technology that would be created in the future back then. Today, with all the high tech digital recording and some additional income I am able to present this modest recording of 8 original songs. Even at that, it took a lot of work by a lot of talented people to create this product. Who ever thought music would be so much work. But it is. It takes a lot of effort and perseverance to get to this finish line.

Over this span of time, at least my playing developed to the point where I could play what I was writing. No small task. I still use the same guitar I've had for thirty some years, my Mahogany Guild D-25. Back then I could barely afford it and I bought it used at that. It has a sweet sound especially when the strings are new. Its gone all over the US wherever I've traveled I took it along.

Music is a great comforter I've found. When I was younger, I would play and sing just for the release of all the emotions I experienced. Now I'm able to at least sit back and enjoy the melody and arrangements that have come about. I hope you'll find some enjoyment too as you listen to these tunes of mine.
