These musicians embark on a creative musical journey that entices the ears and the mind in a new rock band that call themselves After Affect. Shanon takes his vocals on a slightly different path while at the same time keeps to his roots, and that is, having fun with it. At times his vocals have been described as raw, penetrating, melodic, sappy, or whatever else you want to call it. (Has been"compared" to Layne Staley and Billy Corgan) But the simple fact is, he makes it work. His lyrics can identify with many feelings and emotions. And as usual, he has a point to his songs(most of the time anyway), but at the same time, wants the listener to take the song however they choose to interpet it. Edgar brings with him the powerful guitar riffs that have made him who he is. He is a very creative song writer who loves songs that hit you in the face(Can You Feel It), but then can transform that energy and power into a beautiful ballad or acoustic(such as "Set It Free"). He spends hours at a time coming up with new and infectious sounds that are powerful and addictive. This band works because the members have a very similiar taste in music, are very creative, and both have a dedicated attitude to make every song the best it can be.
