Before the summer of 2011, I couldn't write music for the life of me. Oh, I had plenty of experience in music. For years the piano, guitar and synthesizer had been pursuits of mine, I just couldn't put anything on paper. Then late last spring a neat family friend of ours past away leaving her husband and five kids, one of them being one of my best buddies. I can still remember that day receiving the call about Mrs. Strotz. I was real upset... more for my buddy than anything. I was so distraught that I was about ready to go crazy and start punching walls or something... but before that happened, I sat down at the piano and just played. Before I knew it, music was just pouring out of my fingers. It was like I was composing music through emotion. Since that day, writing music has been relatively easy and is a regular part of my daily life. I hope that listeners of this album will discover the amazing Creator of the universe, who at all times, is looking down at them with Loving Eyes.
