The Dorsets are a promising new band from the Phoenix area that is comprised of two guitarist/vocalists, a bass player and a drummer. Their names are Adam Melia (guitar, vocals, song writing), Chad Bowman (guitar, vocals, song writing), Tim Heywood (bass guitar), and Matt âAttackâ Cox (percussion). The Dorsets have come a long way in their first year together. Their following is constantly increasing and the demand for their music is steadily growing. While the Dorsets songs are all written by either Chad or Adam, Tim and Matt create their own parts on the bass and drums. Adam and Chad are influenced by many of the same artists such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Oasis, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jet, Chuck Berry, Led Zeppelin, and The Who. Even though they have these in common, their varied backgrounds create a sound that is wonderfully unique.
