A sloe punk round-up has just circled in a gang of folks who are of a musical nature, neighborly types...the gang of three....

The vocalist guitarist and songwriter, Sandice Alaska, was drawn in deep after the night she snuck in to meet Chrissie Hynde. She went on to make her mark in a solo way, writing and singing about the trials of life as she went through them. Her vocals show the passion put into her songs.

During this time another of the gang, Kjrsten Haaland was making her way to the big city from the sticks, eyes wide. Trained in the cello her personality demanded more expression so when she sat down at a kit for the first time and beat the shit out of it, a drummer was born.

Cruising the city in several different bands fate brought her to Sandice and the two (in a whirlwind of life) landed at Soundwave Studios in Oakland. As it would happen the other member of the gang was next door.

An icon in his own right Jesse Eiland had been adding to the music scene in several well known bands playing most instruments and finally fell in love with the bass. Always recording new material and working feverishly into the night, it wasn't long before the haunting melodies came wafting thru the walls, infecting the air. Jesse could take the mystery no longer so after much door-pounding and screaming the three met.

After a sixer of 40's a bond began to form and they jammed...at that moment Drip Joy began anew and since has grown to create a new fresh sound that is dynamic and raw, with the power of excellent musicianship and the love of friends.
