As always these songs were painstakingly crafted of his beloved 4-track, from which the album draws itâs soothing vintage hiss which melds so well with the subdued music and vocal qualities. Drawing from many traditions in American acoustic music including old-time, folk, and blues Mr. Flynn seeks only to create songs that are true to his ear, not to guide his music into any camp.
