Born in North Carolina, Tornesia Lavon Moses was raised in the urban cities of Brooklyn, New York, Newark and East Orange, New Jersey. Her musical background started in the churches of Newark and East Orange, New Jersey.

Performed at Seattleâs biggest summertime venues; The Soul Festival 2000, 2001 & 2002; The Umoja 2000, 2001 Festivals, The Convention Center in Hopkinsville, TN in 2002; The MGM Hotel in Las Vegas, NV 2004; The Wonder Club and Hip-Hop/Soul Sistahs Festival, Seattle, WA 2005; and many, many more local/national venues in 2006. Pursuing that Jazzy, Neo-Soul with a R&B fusion sound led her to international exposure while continuing to reach for universal stardom. Her travels includes Germany, Holland, Berlin, Africa, Canada and in the U.S. from Washington to Kentucky to Philly to New York.
