Details:
I was born on November 19, 1977 to Aaron and Joan Tippetts. I was their eighth child and fourth daughter. They named me Erica Anne Tippetts. I was not only the apple of my parents' eye but was very loved by each and every one of my siblings as well. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada but shortly after highschool, I moved to St. George, Ut.
As I grew it became apparent to everyone around me that I could sing. However, it was just as rare to catch me in the act of singing as it would be to catch a leprechaun burying a pot of gold. I was a very outgoing child and had lots of friends who often told me that I could be a comedian or an actress one day. But to get up and sing in front of anyone including my family was simply terrifying. It literally made me sick to my stomach. I was asked many times to sing in church and other functions but I flat out refused.
Many years and many missed opportunities to share my talents passed me by and for a long time I was very content with that. However, as my testimony in the Savior grew so did my willingness to do what would be pleasing to the Lord. And I realized that I needed to use my talent. So I prayed and asked for strength and guidance. I began to sing here and there and slowly but surely my fears began to fade away.
I still live in St. George, Utah and I have been married for over 9 years now to my wonderful husband. We have been blessed with three beautiful children. I have been a stay-at-home mom (domestic goddess) ever since we had our first child. But I still manage to perform and use my talent whenever I can. I have worked very hard to overcome my fears, and I am proud to now present to you my first album "Looking Forward From Here
