Details:
This is my first commercial CD. I have been writing music for over 40 years, and not until the advent of computers, MIDI fonts, and sequencing did the muisc come to life as I always heard it in my head.

On this CD I selected the "4th Symphony", I call "Sol" (The Sun). I honor the three Giants of the transitional phase of Astronomy where it went from superstition to study.

Next is "Meditation". A piece of reflection, and communication with God.

Then comes the "Oboe Fantasy". Originally a Violin Sonata, I thought the Oboe would be a most expressive source for this music.

The "Poem for Clarinet", a favorite of my family is next.

Then the "Violin Concerto"... Difficult to describe that one. I hope you enjoy it. I play keyboard (piano-organ), so it was interesting to study how to write for a violin...

The "Serenade" was originally an "Impromptu" for piano...

Lastly the "Missing Slice of Pie". This is a piece I entered into a contest to write a piece in the 7/8 time signature. Though I didn't win that contest, it was a fascinating exercise, and I like the result.
