BLUES: Guitar Blues, ROCK: Extended Jams
Details:
Eddy Jambo is currently a solo artist who has spent countless hours in studio laying down tracks, mixing and mastering music. All tracks were composed, played, recorded and engineered by EJ. Released Dec 2006 "When Jambo Gitz Da Bluz" is now available for retail sales. Varying reviews describe it as a refreshingly unique, soulful blend of Blues, Jazz, Fusion and Rock. Fourteen tracks of music for 10 bucks? A compilation of mostly instrumental blues based material. Eddy Jambo plays all the instruments and created some of the beats. Other beats/percussions were collaborations with other artists. One song "Tooth And Nail" has lyrics that many will be able to relate to.
Naturez Wrath will be featured on another release titled "Naturez Wrath" and will contain other songs appropriate to the title. Naturez Wrath represents the heavier, edgier side of EJ's music. Several tracks on "Naturez Wrath" are approved for soundtrack usage in a project related to an upcoming animation flick and are engineered for high end stereo systems. Eddy Jambo is one of those songwriter/musician/producer's sharing or giving back to this vast world of music after being entertained and inspired by it so much and for so long. The pieces were composed by him and he plays all the instruments. Some of the beats and percussions were collaborations with other artists as is accredited accordingly on the CD credits.
EJ has been influenced by several family members as well as your usual cast of guitarists, bands, etc. His Mom was a classical pianist at a very young age overseas. His uncle, an incredible harmonica player, had jammed, performed and recorded with several well-known blues guitar players during the 60's & 70's (Johnny Turner and Blues With A Feeling). His Dad being an audiophile and vocalist introduced him to several genres of music ranging from Oldies/Pop to Middle Eastern/Mediterranean to Classic Rock. During EJ's teenage years he gravitated towards Heavy Metal/Hard Rock from the influence of friends. Enjoy the tunes and keep supporting UR independent artists/producers. Blessings...
ARTIST'S NOTE: Hope y'all can feel how much I enjoy playing and producing music, whether it's my stuff or someone elses. I'm thankful for the opportunity to place my first of many CD stamps on the music world. Next production release will be titled Naturez Wrath. I've played one gig and it was for 30 guitar students(great kids) at Colfax High School in November "06. It was more of a class on the independent artist/producer and the steps necessary to create, produce and manage the production of a CD and in between I played a few tunes with my acoustic guitar. They broke off into groups and worked on a simple 1-4-5 blues bass line, which brought about Jambalong B12 or "B" Jambalong for those who want to lay guitar tracks over or jam along with the bass line. We all had a great time and the feedback was positive enough to justify a return visit. The instructor had no problem turning his class over to me, though, I felt like it was more of a team effort. Should I be playing "Live" gigs as an entertainer? I'm more of a studio rat but enjoy playing live once in a while. Hope you find my music entertaining and Blessings to y'all...EJ
