Details:
From WHATâS UP! (Bellingham) JAN 2001:

âFizbeaker has a cool, dark, Cure-ish sound. Kind of punkish, kind of melancholy, kind of mysterious. Thereâs a big, drawn-out U2 quality to the guitar work. . . the vocals sound way cool. There is something to be said for a band with a cool sound. Iâd love to hear this band cranked out over a barroom PA, drunk off my ass. (They sure pass the herb test.)â
-Phil Perdue

From WHATâS UP! APRIL 2004:

âI really, really like Fizbeaker. This is exactly the sort of thing Iâm into right now: experimental, very fun, sometimes weird, sometimes just pretty. I would LOVE to see Fizbeaker live.â
-Leigh Bell

These are reviews from two different recodings. Available here is a best of collection from over ten years of ercording music with a 4-track. My friends Matt and Djuna on Orcas Island loves it, and they are not too easy to please (as I send them CDs all the time.) The album is available here only, and I only gave a way about 5, so I don't have much to go on. KUGS (Bellingham) has played "Keeping It On The Road" at least once. The quality is low-fi on some more than others, ocassionally slipping into the unforgiveable degree. But in my early days, I would mix once, then re-use the cassette. Also, songs got bounced from one cassette to another, so that the surviving copy had gone through the dirty record head several times.
