What People Are Saying:
You may have seen John at MOTM....he's there every year. Once you hear this album, he'll be on your "must see" list. Sounding at times like John Mellencamp and at others, an early Jimmy Buffett, John has done himself proud here with ten strong originals, several co-written by none other than Sir Alex Leist. From ballad to honky-tonk, John's strong vocals & fine acoustic guitar work have made this CD an excellent example of roots music at its best.

"I had the great pleasure of catching John Frinzi a bunch of times at MotM this past year, including a night when everybody else was running for shelter from some girl named Michelle, who managed to blow everybody else off the island." "I can't recommend his music enough. The boy is a true talent. His guitar playing is polished, clean and tight all at once, not to mention just a bit different than most, and totally refreshing. Vocals?? Well, some folks just have a distinct voice & John is one of them. Reminds me a bit of Jonathan Birchfield, not in tone, but in style & individuality. Writing? I am pleased to claim some incredible songwritiers as friends, and I would stack Frinzi up against most of them. I don't know John at all, but I do know folks who write with him. One guy in particular seems like a mild mannered car salesperson & Director of Conventions, but turns out his writing is a gift to us all." "Maybe the songs are just hitting me personally, but I think there is something here for all of us. Listen to the music, but listen to the words!"
-Ms. Cindy Kekevian
We were hoping to have an event that people would talk about and John and Dano made it possible!

Mr. Frinzi hits all the notes on this CD with his blend for folk, country and rock. His ability to blend relationships, bars and breakups with some real humor is uncanny.
He also showcases his talent as a musician by playing instruments ranging from the Melodica, Organ, Piano, Acoustic Guitar, percussion and even some Bass on this CD. He has also surrounded himself w/ some awesome musicians throughout this CD to compliment his abundant talent.
This CD is certainly worth more than a listen, add it to your collection and it will be in the CD changers rotation for years...

I've had the pleasure of hearing John Frinzi live a few times. I was looking forward to purchasing and hearing the CD. I was not disappointed! It's a new favorite of mine. Great original songs.

This is an excellent CD. I'm glad I added to my collection.
I admire songwriters who possess the versatility to go from comedy to romance and everything in between. John Frinzi certainly has that ability.
My personal favorites are "Miranda" (I love that banjo) and "Full Time Dream" (great story).
