Details:
The streets of Anyhood U.S.A. are littered with rhyme-slingers who look at the rap game as a way to get off the street and into a better life. Most of us have been there. Broke, struggling and desperate for somethingâ¦anything to happen that will lift us up and out of the dirt that we do and are surrounded by.

The Atlanta, GA duo Gaingreen not only know these feelings they are these feelings. Having spent 2005 performing with artists the caliber of Atlantic Records Recording Artist TI, D4l, Young Jeezy and shattering stages on ASCAP sponsored events all summer long, they are ready to take over the next level and knock the dirt off their shoulders.

Over the course of 2006, Gaingreen has become a staple at radio both in and out of their backyard having lit-up the air-waves through both on-air appearances and playlist rotation on tastemaker stations such as Atlanta's V-103, Harlem's WHCR and New Jersey's WRSU.

The pair which is Tony ATL and J.G. are more than just hometown heroes on their native Atlanta streets. Through intelligent street delivery they have forged a sound that is their own and everything all at once. The street banger "Hand Out My Pocket" flips the old-school disenfranchised cliché into a statement of empowerment through the hustle. The spiritual "Pray To The Lord" brings down a reggae hand on the hook which set up the verses to detail the problems of the city while crying out to the one force that can make a change. The club anthem "Still Smoking" is far from the token party track bringing a level of excitement into the mix that is seldom seen.

Not afraid to be hard and not afraid to be humble Gain Green is as we like to say 'the real shit.'
